No chemicals

At the beginning of the company's history, fresh organic yeast was produced on a very small scale in order to offer organic bakers a consistent solution for a natural yeast produced entirely without chemicals.

Over the years, the production process has been developed and perfected so that Agrano can now use different types of grain in its yeast fermentation. Organic molasses can also be used as a source of carbohydrate (sugar source) in addition to organic grains.

Our product range

Besides our trusty organic fresh yeast, Agrano also produces organic dry yeast specially for the baking industry in southern countries. The company also has an attractive product range of organic liquid products, e.g. pre-ferment and sourdough.
