This year’s Christmas donation went to the alliance "Aktion Deutschland hilft e.V." to support the victims of the flood disaster in western Germany. Heavy flooding, collapsed houses, people missing and found dead: in July 2021, storms left great destruction in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. Many families lost everything. "Aktion Deutschland Hilft", an alliance of German relief organisations, is on the ground and provides aid to the people.
