BIOREAL Organic Yeast - purely organic!

Contrary to conventional yeast, BIOREAL organic yeast is produced based on organic cereals and without any chemical additives during the fermentation.

To produce conventional yeast, chemical nitrogen sources as ammonia, ammonia salts and lyes as well as different acids (e. g. sulfuric acid), synthetic vitamins and growth substances are used.
BIOREAL organic yeast needs no rinsing - as no chemical additives are used - and so no waste water is produced from this way of production. The fermentation medium even forms the basis of further products such as sponge or yeast sourdough starter.



This way of production is particularly eco-friendly and sustainable. For this reason, BIOREAL organic yeast is nationally and internationally certified by different organic certifications. BIOREAL organic yeast can be used like conventional yeast.
